No Justifications

Well, hi there world. It's so good to see an idea, conceived in a lone but awesome room in ahmedabad... slowly getting a flow from various tributaries and something finally coming as a product, that we hold in our hands. It, to say the least, amazes me.

Now, there were a lot of msgs [crossing 140 in no.] and emails [again from where all i have lost count] of reviews and some totally laudatory in nature and some very intelligently critical. Having mentioned that, the most frequent was "Why didn't you give us magnifying lens along with your copy?"

SMALL FONTS

Ok, for the new at scene, I was the one designing the issue, and that is the reason I put this post up titled "No Justifications" lol

The background to the issue, is a huge 'making' wala story. Were an unprecedented kaboomic insanely huge number of write-ups and reports got mailed to me. Now, this was awesome in a manner but it left me under a godzilla of a decision. To choose and disregard some. Let me clarify it that I am not being 'diplomatic' when i say that 'the content was all so good'...no they actually were A grade stuff. And with this being the first issue, I had some preset content layout in mind, which required some of the , rather awesome articles to be archived. And they were so quintessentially informing in nature that they grew obsolete with in the span in which they came and got to printing. And they can never be run again. But considering this rather innocuous constrain coupled with 16 pages dimensional barrier this began to squeeze....err....so as to say, rather smaller than I wanted them to be.

The issue houses more than 30,000 words within 16 pages...which to set is a designers dream as well as a nightmare. But yeah, I enjoyed it nevertheless. But things were maybe not the way I was hoping it turn out to be. And the offset printing's commonplace errors got more convoluted with the already existing problems.

The best thing though, about a newsletter like RENESA is that there always is 'Another Issue'....just waiting to be made. And as this time the team is all you guys....i am hoping things will fall amazingly in place.

Hoping to maintain a good readership number. And for the font matter, please downlod the emag and zoom in your way to clear cut words and hence their meaning.

Shall i buzz off now?...ok i get the msg...bbye...love you guys :)
